      www.amazon.co.jp/World-GOLDEN-EGGS-NORI-ENGLISH/dp/4796657223/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1213003439&sr=8-1

No, really, this is one show I love to watch. I recommend buying the above book, you can pull out the sentences that you hear from some of the episodes into your SRS. Trust me, with the speed they use in Golden Eggs, you’ll be thankful for it.

      Hi, Khatz!
Sorry for the off-topic question here.
When inputting sentences into your SRS, did you also input some sentences for the sake of frequency or grammatical structure?
Of course, this question is only for the early stages (000-500 sentences approx.).
As I can’t still understand the grammatical stucture yet to make my own phrases, I decided to add some sentences I already know because they have a somewhat difficult structure which I thought I could become accustomed to when SRSing them? What do you think?

Oh man, that was so good. Thanks for the embed. I saw it one time on TV but was channel surfing and didn’t catch the name. If I remember correctly they were making fun of Fukuda…impressive that they go for the political figures.

Hey, nacest! If I’m not wrong, you live in Italia, right? Do you know of any FREE italian site or something that can help someone learn italian in the AJATT way? I got a friend who wants to learn italian so maybe I can help him. Who knows…? :)

      @nacest and khatz
Uh…sorry but please don’t bother answering. First, because my friend doesn’t want to learn Italian now (hoping to finish university first) and second because I really have no intention of coming back here for a while(months?). What a rude manner of saying this (I think) but it’s just that. As Khatz said, take some of his own advice. In short, I don’t want to come back just to see if there are any replies to my questions. Now that was rude too (I think). Besides, for the SRS thing, common sense is a pretty good weapon, I think.
Just before I leave I wanted to say thank you for your site, Khatz. When I got here I was still 12 ( 9? ) years old although I was already 19! Your site has helped my head(thoughts) match my age in terms of maturity. Thank you very much. :) :D

Sorry for the off-topic post, but is anyone else having trouble with どらま・のーと? When I try to get to a script (like the one for the first episode of 電車男 – tinyurl.com/5elqvj ) , it takes me to different page where the text is all gibberish although the ads still appear. Here is said gibberish page: tinyurl.com/5d6g66.

Is this a problem with my computer? Is anyone having difficulties?

      Looks fine to me.

Your browser is probably using the wrong encoding.
In Firefox: View>Character Encoding, then choose one and refresh the page until you get Japanese.

Should be something similar for IE I think…

      Hi Nivaldo,
sorry for the late reply. I don’t know if you’ll read this, but I’m gonna answer your question anyway.
As I was born in Italy, I’ve never consciously tried to “study” Italian. My immersion was “natural”. So I’m not a very good source of study material, unfortunately.
Anyway, I doubt you’ll ever find a site that gives out free books… it’s not likely, unless you are looking for audiobooks. The closest thing I can think of is something like bookmooch.com/ , where you can exchange books with people around the world. There is an Italian section.
Let me know if your friend gets interested in Italian again.
I’d like to give you my email address, but right now I don’t know how to do it…

      @ UberStuber

You were right; it was just a matter of changing the encoding to Japanese (EUC-JP). Thank you so much for the help.

Khatz: At some point, would it be possible to add a RSS feed that only lists articles written in Japanese? I’m a huge fan of your blog, but way too often I find myself reading about the method when my time would be better spent using it.
