This is tough to say, but I figure you’d rather hear an honest opinion rather than a brown-nosed one so…. I cringed when I heard that dude’s Japanese in the beginning. I mean I’m sure he’s a cool guy and all, but it was hard to even finish listening to it.
There are so many great things on this site (back to brown-nosing), this just seems out of place. To post non-native Japanese and then request us listen and transcribe it? It just seems to go against the fundamental rules established on this site.
I mean I suppose it’s not a big deal or anything, just surprising that’s all.

the guy’s accent did kind of suck but at least he is giving it a good shot. either that or maybe he is just trying to be unique or something heh… we all gotta suck in the beginning anyways

Khatz’s Japanese is very good, though the point of discussion kind of gets lost because TkyoSam can’t really keep up. It would have been better to have Khatz and the other lady (Keiko) talk a bit more and throw some slower pitches at TkyoSam every once in a while to keep the fluidity moving.
Not a bad idea–glad you are doing podcasts. And no, tkyo’s Japanese isn’t very good yet, but he’s doing what he needs to improve, which is speaking in Japanese. I don’t think it serves any purpose (other than being mean spirited) to come in here and criticize someone who is trying.
