For me, beyond just the method, this is a fun place to poke around and find little bits of pop culture I wouldn't normally have paid any attention to. Ironically, your blog is all the more interesting because our tastes (especially in music!) don't match up at all - so when I want to listen to something a little different I can count on your recommendations. Beyond that, it's always motivating to hear from someone who's farther along, especially at those times where Japanese starts feeling impossibly difficult!
