This is my 2nd day studying japanese, I learnt the hiragana yesterday and tomorrow I will tackle the katakanas, from there on I will just review them and start getting some kanji under my belt. I'm using Remebering the Kana (part 1 is hiragana part 2 is katakana) and Remebering the Kanji. Why does this RTK have the kanji pronunciation? When do I start learning the pronunciation? Should I learn the pronunciation at the same time I'm learning the Kanji? If not, why not? I record the sound with a program called Audacity (google it) and plug it into my SRS. I suggest you read this more for the sake of understanding my thought process and the evolution of my learning methods than for actual use.". The note can be in the post itself, or you could write a small explanation in this overview post, with something like colours or italics to differentiate between posts (stuff which has been improved is italicized, or the letters are in a different colour).
