Thoughts from and based off of what I heard after watching Demetri Martin's "If I" show. Yeah, it's "comedy" but I found it really interesting. I hadn't formulated the ideas into words just yet, but they were still there, and it's fascinating to see a completely different angle of getting to the same end. But these variables are all new and unheard of to me, and the way you brought them together, I'm actually excited. Even if I don't get anything significant done as a result of this, I have no doubt that it will help me a lot in life - with some of the most difficult things. "Getting things done" has always been a huge weakness of mine, starting projects and never finishing anything. So I'm not sure what words to use to thank you, but I wanted to let you know I really appreciate this. Even if I don't learn Japanese in the time I want, even if I don't accomplish anything "real," your writing is so interesting and easy to get through and this stuff really reaches home. So regardless of what happens, thank you for at least that.
